Shakti Naman Initiative

Promoting Health, Hygiene and Dignity for Women

Every woman deserves access to basic hygiene, good health, and the dignity that comes with being cared for. Guided by this belief, Tiger Logistics, through its implementing agency Parvaah, launched the Shakti Naman Initiative during FY 2025–26 at Gurgaon District Jail, Haryana, to support the health and well-being of women residing within the correctional facility.

Initiative Highlights

  • 135 women inmates received hygiene kits containing:
    • Sanitary napkins
    • Toiletries
    • Essential personal hygiene products
  • 9 children residing with their mothers were provided with:
    • Diapers
    • Essential childcare supplies

Objective

  • Promote better menstrual hygiene and personal well-being
  • Improve access to essential hygiene products
  • Support healthier living conditions within the correctional facility
  • Foster dignity, inclusion, and a sense of care among women inmates
  • Extend care to children residing with their mothers
