Creating greener cities begins with empowering individuals to take small but meaningful steps towards environmental conservation. As an extension of our Urban Forestry Initiative, our CSR implementation agency Parvaah organized a Plantation Distribution Drive at Nehru Place to encourage citizens to become active participants in building a healthier urban ecosystem.
Our approach goes beyond simply planting trees. We believe that long-term environmental impact comes from nurturing and protecting every sapling. Through regular maintenance, volunteer-led monitoring, and community engagement, we work to ensure that each plant has the opportunity to survive, grow, and contribute to a greener city.
During the drive, our volunteers distributed nearly 1,500 plants to commuters, residents, shopkeepers, office-goers, and members of the local community. Alongside each sapling, we shared the importance of responsible plantation, proper care, and the collective role every individual can play in improving urban biodiversity and air quality.
The initiative was a celebration of community participation and environmental stewardship, demonstrating that meaningful change does not always require grand gestures. When thousands of small actions come together, they create a lasting impact. Every plant distributed represented a shared commitment towards a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future.
