Every child deserves the opportunity to learn without being held back by the lack of basic school supplies. Guided by this belief, Parvaah, our CSR implementation agency organised the Nanhi Kiran Initiative at Government Model Primary School in Bhupani, Haryana, to support children from underserved communities with essential learning materials.
During interactions with the school administration and teachers, it became evident that many students attending the second shift came from economically disadvantaged families and often lacked the basic supplies needed for everyday classroom learning. Recognising that access to these essentials can make a meaningful difference in a child's educational journey, Parvaah stepped forward to bridge this gap.
As part of the initiative, more than 350 students received school bags and thoughtfully curated stationery kits containing notebooks, drawing books, colouring materials, pencils, erasers, sharpeners, and other classroom essentials. By ensuring that every child had the tools they needed, the initiative empowered students to participate in classroom activities with greater confidence and enthusiasm.
Beyond distributing educational supplies, the initiative aimed to inspire children to remain engaged in their studies, nurture their creativity, and reinforce the belief that every learner deserves an equal opportunity to succeed. Small acts of support today can help build brighter futures, one child at a time.
