Every child deserves to learn in a safe, clean, and healthy environment. However, for many under-resourced schools with inadequate infrastructure continues to affect students' daily learning experience. Recognising this need, through our CSR implementation agency, Parvaah we took up strengthening school infrastructure at Government Model Sanskriti Primary School, Bhupani, Faridabad undertaking the complete restoration of the school's sanitation and drinking water facilities.
Following a detailed site assessment, the team observed several critical infrastructure gaps. Among the most pressing concerns were non-functional toilets, damaged plumbing, and an inadequate drinking water facility. These issues not only affected hygiene but also impacted the overall well-being and learning experience of the students.
The toilet block underwent extensive renovation to make it safe, hygienic, and fully functional. The work included repairing damaged plumbing lines, replacing worn-out pipelines, and restoring all seven flush systems. The walls were repaired, freshly whitewashed, and painted, transforming an unusable space into a clean and dignified facility that students can use with confidence every day.
Access to safe drinking water is essential for every child. The school's drinking water area, which had remained largely non-functional, was repaired and restored to ensure a reliable supply of clean drinking water throughout the school day.
Alongside the infrastructure restoration, our CSR implementation agency also conducted a dedicated cleaning and sanitation drive across the school premises. The objective was not only to hand over the renovated facilities in excellent condition but also to encourage a culture of cleanliness and shared responsibility within the school community.
